In an interview with Planet TV, the C.E.O of Triple MG, Ubi Franklin said he has no problem with Tekno should he decide to leave Triple MG after the expiration of his contract.
‘Am sure when his contract expires, if he wants to go, I don’t have a problem with that. I am not trying to hold back on any artiste. My dream coming to the entertainment industry is to create, build, release to the world, and say, this is what we’ve done.’ he said.
Having dropped hit singles back to back and won several awards last year 2016, Tekno is now the most sorted after Nigerian musical act.
He gained much attention from the Ubi Franklin owned label after his former label mate Iyanya left for Mavin Records.
